While Anglo-pop's peeps were from Texas, mama's parientela were from Durango & Zacatecas [she & her dad ('Chano') were born in Miguel Auza]; most of the kinfolk that I know/remember are still in or near Mexico City - though some are also [the last I remember] in: Tijuana, Puerto Penasco, and Culiacan.
Where do your roots run, & how current are your contacts with your family down home? (Extra credit for family chismes that make reunions a little tougher than usual....)

Thu, February 10, 2005 - 4:26 PMMy old man is from Mexico City from la colonia Roma. It's nice there, pretty much in the center of the city close to estacion de metro Centro Medico. This area was very hard hit by the 1985 Earth quake. -

also have family in New Mexico and LA area... but also family in Chihuahua, Chihuahua... been high school since I last visited
last thing I heard was my great aunt had a bar somewhere...
this is all on my father's side... mother's side is less connected -
